Massive blog not so massive?

Hallo. Diese Woche wurde mir gesagt, der Massive Blog sei nicht mehr so massiv wie früher. Nach einer schnellen Betrachtung der Statistiken sieht man, dass in der Tat nur neun (jetzt zehn) Einträge in dem April-Monat bislang geschrieben worden sind. Das ist weniger als in all den anderen Monaten zusammen. Oder auch einzeln. Heißt das aber, dass der Blog seine Massivität verloren hat? Eigentlich müsste man Massivität definieren, denn ich bin mir weit nicht sicher, ob ein Blog mit mehr Einträgen unbedingt und auf jeden Fall massiver ist als ein Blog mit weniger Einträgen. Abgesehen von der Tatsache, dass nicht alle Einträge gleich lang sind, und dass nicht alle gleich dicht sind (im Sinne von: manche haben viele Links, Doppelpunkte und Paradoxica, während andere mehr mit Bindestrichen, dem Buchstaben O (wie Oskar) und der Ziffer 0 (wie 007) auskommen).
Also ist es klar, dass die Einträgezahl nicht direkt die Massivität bestimmt. Wichtig aber ist, dass ihr erkennt, dass das hier keineswegs eine Ausrede dafür ist, dass ich diesen Monat weniger Einträge geschrieben habe. Ich werde mich bemühen, bis Ende des aktuellen Monats (April) mindestens noch fünf Posts geschrieben zu haben, damit April aufs Febrauar-Niveau wieder kommt. Ach das waren ja schöne (massive) Tage damals...

Hello. This week someone said to me that the Massive Blog isn't as massive as it used to be. After a quick study of the statistics, one sees that indeed only nine (not ten) entries have so far been written in the month of April. That is fewer than in all the other months put together. Or on their own. But does that mean, that the blog has lost its massiveness? Really, one would have to define massiveness, because I'm not in the least bit sure whether a blog with more entries is necessarily and in every case massiver than a blog with fewer entries. Besides the fact, that not all entries are of the same length, and that not all have the same density (in the sense that: some have lots of links, colons and paradoxica, whilst others get by more with hyphens, the letter O (like Oscar) and the digit 0 (like 007).
So it's clear that the entry count doesn't directly determine the massiveness. It is however important that you realise, that this is on no account an excuse for my not having written so many entries this month. I will strive to, by the end of the current month (April) to have written at least another five posts, so that April comes up to the Febraury-niveau. Oh those were lovely (massive) days back then, weren't they...
