Guten Tag. Heute habe ich herausgefunden, dass am 12. Mai 2010 bekannt gegeben wurde, dass Steve McClaren (nee McClown) der nächste Trainer vom VFL Wolfsburg sein wird. An sich ist das nicht so überraschend. Ich war einfach nur überrascht, dass es so lange gedauert hat, bis ich das mitbekommen habe. OK - ich war am 12. Mai in Ovruch und da hatte ich nicht so viel Zeit für holländisch-deutsche Trainergeschichten, aber trotzdem. Seitdem ich wieder "im Lande", also in Deutschland bin, lese ich jeden Tag Nachrichten über Fußball und ich gucke auch sehr viel Fußball. Viel von dem Fußball, über den ich lese oder den ich gucke, betrifft entweder die englische Nationalmannschaft oder Deutschland. Die englische Nationalmannschaft ist das Ex-Team von McClaren und Deutschland ist das Land, in dem der VFL Wolfsburg spielt (in der ersten Liga dort, die man "die Bundesliga" nennt). Daher wäre es nicht all zu überraschend gewesen, wenn ich gecheckt hätte, dass längst entschieden wurde, dass McClaren nach Wolfsburg kommt. Aber nö. Ich habe erst heute, fast 50 Tage später, kapiert, wat überhaupt los ist. Und wie? Weil ich auf Ladbrokes.com gucken wollte, wie die Quoten für den nächsten England-Trainer aussehen und ich habe eine McClaren-Wolfsburg-Wette zufällig bemerkt.
Um solche Ausrutscher künftig zu vermeiden, werde ich ab jetzt jeden Tag Ladbrokes.com besuchen. Es ist die einzige Lösung, wenn ich meiner Verantwortung als "Wat-los-ist-Wisser" nachkommen möchte.
