The end of a week

English translation follows the Germant text.

Hallo.

Hello. Today is the end of week. I wanted to say, "today is the end of one week and thereby the beginning of a whole new one", but it isn't. The beginning of the whole new week isn't until tomorrow, not today. I mean, it's not a bd thing. It was fairly easy to see this happening. And for today not being the start of a whole new week, I didn't have to go to work, I didn't have to go shopping for the new week. At the end of a week you don't have to go shopping for anything - you're not even allowed to go shopping, because it's Sunday. Even if you accidentally end up at the station and so are allowed to do some shopping, you don't have to buy very much, because the week only has a few hours left in it and you can generally, on a Sunday evening, eat something of the left over food, which has been left over over the course of the past week. So Monday is really stupid in this respect - you have to buy a load of stuff for the coming week AND you don't have anything to eat from the previous days of the week, because there haven't yet been any days. And tomorrow is Monday - bugger - I'll have to think up something really clever, if I'm to avoid encountering the problems I've just described here - maybe I can wear a pair of shoes that are one size too big and then smuggle a few garlic cloves from the previous week over into the next one. I'll let you know tomorrow (Probability: low) how it's gone.
See you then!
