Advent 11

English translation follows the German text.

Zum 11. Adventstag bekommt ihr eine Einsicht in den Mechanismus des Massive Blogs.
Der erste Satz jedes Posts lautet seit immer "English translation follows the German text." Seit einiger Zeit kann man auf "English translation" klicken und somit runter zur englischen Übersetzung springen. Cooles Feature, wie ich finde. Um dies möglich zu machen, braucht man einen seiteninternen Referenzpunkt, den in diesem Fall kurz vorm englischen Text zu finden ist, und einen Link darauf. Diese Struktur lässt sich in HTML sehr leicht bauen. Man braucht dafür ungefähr 26 Tastatur-Anschläge. Trotzdem habe ich mir bislang nicht zu Kenntnis genommen, wie man das macht und das kopiere ich jedes Mal vom vorigen Post, was eigentlich mehr Aufwand ist, weil ich dafür weitere Fenster (so genannte "Windows") aufmachen muss und so weiter. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich demächst lernen werde, wie ich diesen Link manuell einbaue - ich halte es für eher unwahrscheinlich und dies ich wieder ein Beispiel der Irrationalität der Menschen.

Hello. On this 11th day of advent you can have an insight into the mechanism of the Massive Blog. The first sentence of each post is always "English translation follows the German text." For a while now, you have been able to click on "English translation" and thereby jump down to the English translation. A nice feature, I think. In order to make this possible, you need a page-internal reference point, which in this case is found just before the English text, and a link to it. This structure can be built very easily in HTML. You need about 26 keystrokes for it. In spite of this I have so far not taken note of how to do it and always just copy it in from the previous post, which is actually more work, because I have to then open more windowns (so called "Windows") and so on. I don't know if I will soon learn to build this link manually - I don't consider it to be very probable and this is another example of the irrationality of humans.
